Yesterday I was feeling terrible. I thought it was due to allergies, but now I’m not so sure, and I’m questioning my ability to tell whether I’m sick or having allergies. That’s probably exaggerating quite a bit, but still makes me wonder.
I was sneezing a ton, runny eyes, stuffed up and draining – the whole bit. That’s all allergy related for sure. I came home early, slept for a while and then just lounged around. By 10pm when I was going back to bed, I was feeling horrid. Fever, chills, achy all over. Really feeling like the flu was coming.
This morning, I felt much better after about 10 hours of sleep. I’m still wondering if having an allergic bout like that led to my body being less resistant to something, and I caught a minor flu bug, or if it was all just happening at the same time and I couldn’t tell.
Human bodies are something else, aren’t they? Marvelous, but yet so complex and fragile too.
