The weather around Phoenix is so nice this time of year. I’d consider buying if I could sell a house back home considering the real estate in Phoenix is such a relative bargain.

This sounds pretty sophisticated! I’m totally down for the use of this for crime and uninsured motorists, etc. But if they start using it for photo-radar and mailing tickets, I’ll be pissed! Well, I will be if it’s anywhere near where I live anyway, othewise you Canadians can fend for yourselves

Here’s some sites I found on April 16th that I thought was worth sharing:
- Color Palette Generator - This page lets you add an image URL from which it will generate color palettes that you can use for web or regular design. Could be great for picking colors from a catalog for interior design also
- Quote Finder - This tool lets you cut & paste content into a form, and will check for duplicate / plagiarism / copied content. It's useful to check to see if someone who's writing something is just copying the content from somewhere else.

Easy Whois Lookup

I use http://whois.domaintools.com a TON to look at who owns a specific domain / site. The format to use this is simple - just go to http://whois.domaintools.com/domaintolookup.com and it will do the lookup.
However, I get frustrated in typing it out, so I wrote a really simple bookmarklet that will get the domain of the site you’re looking at, and pass the request to domaintools.com so I won’t have to type it every time.
Here’s the bookmarklet - you should be able to just drag this link to your browser toolbar.
Disclaimer: I have only done this in Firefox 2, so it may not work in others but theoretically should.
