In case you’re wondering what Mika’s been up to, I have been working hard at getting the new place ready. It’s always been a dream of mine to own a restaurant, so I decided to go for it. Sure, it’s not the best time in economically, but the business plan is pretty solid and the overhead should be quite low.
I went for Sushi/Japanese for 2 reasons:
- I really love sushi! Even more so after going to Hiroshi’s in the Pearl.
- The investors are Japanese. I think they are convinced that I have some Japanese blood since Mika is a Japanese name too. Works for me.
We’re not yet open, but when we are, stop by at 1425 SW 2nd and tell them you know Mika.
