Yep folks, that’s right. I just beat a Mensa member at Scrabble, and not by a few little points here and there. It was a come-from-behind win, starting with almost a 50 point deficit and almost a 40 point win. Or something like that. In any case, my 4-letter words loaded with Z’s and Q’s took the win.I fully expect excuses posted as blog comments below, Miss JJJSJ. Feel free, but remember who the winner was. I am open for re-matches, or best-of-3 series. This time I won’t make up words and eat 40 points in initial penalties.
PS. I’m one of those previous ESL kids….
