Looking for a new Digital Camera

So I’ve been thinking about getting a new digital camera lately, since I can’t find the charger cable for the one I have. I also don’t really like the other one too much, because I went with the “smaller the camera the better” idea when I bought it, and frankly it’s almost too small and a big pain. I guess it’s really more about the fact that it’s not durable, and I’m afraid to break it by getting a little bit of rain (happens here in Portland, I hear) on it.
My thought is to get one of those waterproof ones, for my next digital camera, but I don’t yet know which one to get. I’m kind of thinking about a Olympus Stylus 770 SW because I like the size, and it’s good to a depth of 33ft in case I drop it off a kayak or boat in Belize or something.
Anyone have any recommendations?

our Canon PowerShot A70 finally died after living a very had life.
I just bought a Canon A550 from Newegg.com
We’ll see how it works out but based on my experience with Canon it’ll be great, plus it feels like a real camera, and not a credit card that you get your fingers in front of the lens. Plus it’s compact enough to shove in a diaper bag, pocket, day pack, etc without being a space hog. I like that it does little videos too.

Hey, ask Aleksi. He looked a lot of different digital cameras and should know by now.
