I remember seeing the Stuff mag on Hydro’s desk, and was just browsing around for stuff (not “Stuff”, but rather plain old “stuff”) online and ran across their website at Stuff.tv.
Taking a page from Sean, I thought to myself, “what’s the best?” and clicked over onto their Top 10 gadgets page (lo and behold, it says “What’s the best” on that page too) to see what that was all about and then to gadget reviews when I ran across this weird Puma glow-in-the dark bike.
One could make a case for the safety factor, (PK, it’s perfect for you!) but I think that’s pretty much negated by the dork factor. That probably means that someone here in Portland would love it, considering all those weird bikes I see people riding all the time. But at 825 quid, I doubt any real edgy person could afford it, so it’s going to be left up to just the hipsters.
The Glow-Rider also folds for easy storage while traveling, so you can take it with you on a flight to Amsterdam since cars in that city are pretty much worthless unless you get one of these Canta cars.
I do have to say though, that for a folding bike, this actually looks pretty cool - too bad it glows.
