Working On The Kitchen Backsplash

I spent yesterday working on the kitchen back splash and hanging the hood with Greg. It brought back old memories of our brief foray into house flipping a few years back. I had a ton of fun working with Greg and working on making messed up houses into something cool, but it just wasn’t the right timing in life I guess.
So anyway, I am trying to decide whether I should leave the back splash just to the bottom of the hood, or if I should tile behind the hood all the way to the ceiling. I kind of like it both ways, but I’m not sure which way would look better.

I reckon you leave it as is. Maybe get some art on the wall instead. Looks great though.

Yep, leave it as is we did. I’m almost done grouting it, hoping to finish that today and get it all wrapped up and the kitchen back together.

Gotta admit though, I think it would pretty impressive to have it tiled all the way to the ceiling.
